Whoo Hoo! It's the start of the holidays, which means no school, no work, just play! I just got home from scout camp yesterday night (the camp was supposed to end today, but I was released early due to a math olympiad exam happening tmr). Anyways, I'm not really gonna study for it cos' I'm not really in the mood, and plus, I doubt I would even be able to answer a quarter of the questions, so I'm not really gonna try.

Moving on...As the title of this post states, I am 2nd in class and third in level. Though I'm very satisfied with this unexpected result (I didn't study to my maximum capacity), I do not want to brag as this year is streaming year, and me being at such a high position puts me in a situation where I have little chance to move up, but a ton of chances to move down! So 3SA (Secondary 3 top class), here I come! I know that sounds a bit corny and childish but... moving on...

Ok, so here's roughly what I did at scout camp:

1st day - Arrive at camp, put up flag pole, lunch?, play COMBAT SKIRMISH**(laser tag), play ZORBING*(big hamster ball), dinner.

2nd day - Breakfast*, carry heavy equipment? for Flying Fox, build Flying Fox, outdoor cooking lunch?, continue building?, night hike and dinner.

3rd day - Breakfast, Prawning OR Prawn Fishing**, steam prawns for lunch***(total 21 caught, I caught 4), continue building?Flying Fox, play Flying fox, dismantle Flying Fox?, dinner, campfire, "MY BIG ESCAPE"***

4th day - There is supposed to be a fourth day, which is for packing and cleaning the campsite, but I'm home now, so lucky for me!

Well as a whole, the camp was very fun and activity-packed. But if you didn't notice, days 2 & 3 revolved mainly around the Flying Fox, so that was the part of the camp that sucked. Also, my patrol leader stabbed himself in the thigh (not too serious) with a chopping knife cos' he was attempting to cut a pineapple in the dark (against our advice) and misaimed. The campsite was horrendous as the whole place was covered with tall grass, and we had to walk a very long distance from our tents to the assembly area, so I'm covered with rashes and insect bites!

Well ok, I think I squeezed enough excitement in one post, so bye! By the way, I'm going on a class trip to Vietnam this Wednesday for five days, so you won't be hearing from me till I return. Bye again!

Finally, the exams are over! I'm quite relieved, but I all I know is that I did not do too well for Chemistry & Physics :( Anyways I hope the rest of the subjects can help to pull my marks up!

I couldn't think of another title.

Anyways, I'm back. I was away for so long cos' I was umm... studying... not. Well, many things have happened during this time:

1) I adopted a puppy (chihuahua) named Snowy, his previous owner named him that cos' he's white.

2) I'm actually in the middle of my SA1 exams, Literature (final paper) tmr.
3) I'm modeling a futuristic scene of Potong Pasir for my art exam in C4D, and I'm excited to see what it will look like. (By the way, I'm a victim of theft here...people are stealing cars, trees, buildings from my file, and I'm really pissed)

Whoo hoo!!! It's the start of the March holidays, finally!!! I'm quite satisfied with my CA1 results as I failed my math but was still able to maintain my position in the top 10 of the level, though I dropped 5 positions from SA2 last year. However, I will try to regain my position as 4th (maybe even higher) this SA1 exams!!!

Yes, I can't believe it too, me scoring a B3 for art!!!! I'm so pissed. So its looks like I'm not that good in animation art :( Well I should have a submitted that edited piece of animation (previous post). I used photoshop to edit the colours, change the sky etc. Well it's too late since I already submitted my non-edited piece of rubbish before I photoshopped it. *Sigh!* I'll try to get much higher for SA1 (also animation) to pull my grades up to at least an A1. Then it's back to drawing and painting in CA2 & SA2, which is, again, my time to shine (not that I want to brag or anything).

WOW!!! It's already been a week since the start of holidays. Time really flies when having fun!!! Actually, I don't really have anything to do besides playing the com or psp :(

Anyways last week I watched this theatre performance called Ennio at Victoria Theatre. It's basically about some guy who makes all his costumes out of paper and imitates famous people and singers. He changes his costumes by just flipping the paper. It's really cool and creative and very entertaining.

Today marks the start of a 8-week period of total non-stop celebration and partying, also known as holidays. I hope I spend my holidays well as next year will be a tough year as there will be streaming at the end of it. It is to put the best of the best together in one class, which I hope to get into. However, that is in 2010. For now, it's time to sit back, relax, and let the fun begin!!!

Yay!!! I scored all distinctions in my SA2. I was quite surprised at the result as I did not expect to get so high since the papers were quite hard!!! Anyways, it's nice to finally get the load of being anxious for the exam results off my back. I don't have school on Monday cos' the school wants to sort out the examination marks, which means 4 more days of school and the celebration begins!!!!

Who hooo!!! My exams ended last Fri. I'm not too confident on this term's exams cos the papers were generally tougher. Well anyway, what's done is done so we'll see if I'm ending up in the top class next year.

Besides that, I just got an Ipod Shuffle. It's the latest edition and I've uploaded every of my 1052 songs in my Itunes library into it.

School Excursion: Chinatown & Asian Civilisations Museum

Well, we had not ONE but TWO excursions in one row. Yay no lessons!

Chinatown:
First stop, Chinatown. It was ok, but not even half as fun as the Zoo. We went around Chinatown following some Tour Guide. First we went to the streets of Chinatown looking at the shops and stuff. After that we had a break and ate at the hawker centre near there. Then we went to view the various places of worship for the respective religions. I'm a FREE-THINKER so I couldn't care less!
Anyways I just went into the Mosque, Indian and Chinese Temples reluctantly. Then we took a coach to our next destination, the Asian Civilisations Museum.

Asian Civilisations Museum:
Next stop, ACM (Asian Civilisations Museum). Again it was ok, but quite boring at the same time. We saw all the various OLD stuff gallery by gallery and soon I got quite bored. But I pulled through and in no time it was over!

School Excursion: Singapore Zoo

Yesterday I went to the Singapore Zoo, and it was quite fun!!! Here's how it went:

Left school at 8.15am and reached Zoo at 8.45am. Then we gathered at the main entrance. *Snore!* so boring. Then we went in and started our tour. We went past some enclosures and stopped for while to do some worksheet activity thingy. We didn't have any space to do our work as most tables had huge spiderwebs dangling from them. So me and my group had to use a dustbin that had a flat top :( After that, the tour continued and we saw most of the animal enclosures there. BTW never buy the coke at the Zoo. $3 for a bottle ~ SO EXPENSIVE!!! I was appointed as cameraman and had to take all the photos! After the trip, our teacher treated us to Pizza Hut. YUM!!! Pizza Party!!!

There's a Yakult and Vitagen war raging on and let's see who the better "man" actually is.

1.TASTE TEST!!!
Our two competing brands must face their first test. THE TEST OF TASTE. Well, I feel that they are equally delicious! However, some people say that Yakult is better cos' it is sweeter and Vitagen, a little too bland for their taste buds! YAKULT: 1 VITAGEN: 0

2.FLAVOUR TEST!!!
Moving on, Vitagen has more flavours than Yakult. My personal favourite for both brands - Green Apple...Yum! Btw, the flavours for Yakult are: Original, Green Apple, Grape and Orange. There's also some other one with the blue cap. For Vitagen, they are: Original, Green Apple, Grape, Peach, Orange and some other flower like crap. YAKULT: 1 VITAGEN: 1

3.HEALTH TEST!!!
Well, from what I can remember, the Yakult factory manager said a bottle of Yakult has less sugar than Vitagen LESS SUGAR haha!!! YAKULT: 2 VITAGEN: 1

4.BACTERIA TEST!!!
I mean the GOOD bacteria that is present in the milk, not the BAD one! Well what d'ya know, they both have the same bateria...Lactobacillus casei Shirota. YAKULT: 3 VITAGEN: 2

5.COPYRIGHT TEST!!!
Apparently, Yakult goes way back to the 1930s. Then, Vitagen didn't even exist. In 1977, Vitagen mysteriously appeared and adopted almost EXACTLY the same shape as Yakult. However, they made theirs BIGGER!!! OOO that's REEEEEAAAAAAAAL original (sarcastic). So, I'm gonna give them a fail for copyright. YAKULT: 4 VITAGEN: 2

6.SIZE TEST!!!
Isn't it obvious? YAKULT: 4 VITAGEN: 3

7.INGREDIENT TEST!!!
Our WONDERFUL Vitagen has taken the initiative to use REAL fruit juice in their drink. WOW! YAKULT: 4 VITAGEN:4 It's a tie!!

8.LABELLING TEST!!!
Now for the tie breaker! On a Yakult bottle, it is identified as THE HEALTHY FAMILY DRINK. While on a Vitagen bottle, it is identified as THE HEALTHIER PROBIOTICS DRINK. Do I detect a sense of competition in these words? Well that doesn't prove anything. So the final score is:
YAKULT: 4 VITAGEN: 4
Yay! It's a tie!!!

YIPPEE!!! I'm 5th in class and 6th in level. I would never have expected such an amazing turn of events when I was announced as 5th in class and 6th in level. I was jumping with joy! However, this is only the beginning because SA2 is worth 60% of my final year results. AHHH!!! Study study study. Well, it's not time to get overconfident as I may end up in a lousy class :(

School Excursion: Yakult Factory

Today I went to the Yakult Factory in Senoko...and it was AWESOME!!!! Here's how it went:

We left for school @ 2.00pm and reached the factory @ 3.00pm. One hour in the bus!!!! Booooooriiiing!!! Then we went inside the factory into a room where the manager of the Yakult Factory told us about the origins, ingredients, rival brands etc. He also briefed us on the process of making Yakult. Oh yea we also got FREE Yakult!!! Then he took us 4 a tour of the factory. First was the milk and fermentation station, then the flavour and stuff, then the packaging. I have a collection of Yakult bottles at home and wanted to ask if they could gimme some HAHA:). Well after that I bought 3 Yakult packets for $2.50 each and we took the bus back to school. Then I walked to the MRT station and both MRT trains broke down so I had to wait like 15 to 20 mins. *Sigh*.
And the train kept stopping at every stop for like 15 mins so I got frustrated and tried to take a taxi home but the MRT soon started moving again. ZHEN DE SHI DAO MEI!!!

Okay, so here's how it went.

Day 1
Airport bus arrives. Fetches us to airport. Check in luggages...BORING!!! Post a post from airport. Then flyyyyyyyyyyy!!! 7 hrs airplane ride. Reach Narita Airport. Take free shuttle bus to Tokyo airport. 1 hr drive. Then 1.5 hrs in plane to Hokkaido. Then 3hr drive to hotel (Keyo Plaza Hotel). Then rest in hotel for a while. The go for dinner at 6pm. And sleep.

Day 2 - Day 3
I'm not so sure.. but I do remember going to a chocolate factory.....and eating ramen everyday for at least one meal.

Day 4
FUN STARTS! Bus ride to Rusutsu Resort (SKI Resort) Yawn 5 hrs. But luckily I "PSPed" my way through the bus ride. Haha. So we went to check in and try our ski boots and jackets and stuff. BTW the ski boots are overly-tight and if you loosen it too much they'll fall off when skiing. Then we went to eat a buffet dinner.

Day 5
SKI, SKI and SKI the whole day. Plus buffet for all three meals at the same restaurant. AHHHH!!!

Day 6
See day 5.

Day 7
It didn't snow that day so the snow was very thin and skiing was harder cos' it's harder to break. So we just skied for half a day and went to swim at the hotel's warm pool. Oh Yeah and they had a huge water slide so we kept sliding down. WEEEEEE! Then buffet again.

Day 8
It still didn't snow. And it was worse cos' grass was exposed. But I took the challenge. I followed my aunt and uncle and cousins down the Banbi Slope a.k.a. the intermediate slope. And guess what, we all crashed. I crashed on purpose cos' I was going too fast. It was super steep. About the steepness of this line: / AHHHHH! But the crash was painless cos' I sat down before crashing. Then I just slid down. And there was a steeper part nearly as steep as this line: | AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! Luckily, we took and shortcut that just required us to turn our way down cos' it was a winding path. It was much better the flying down and killing yourself. Whew! Then I went down again but to another slope which was not exactly as steep. Next we went to eat at Daniel Street. The fast food street. YUM! After that we went to swim and it's buffet dinner again!!! You'd be sick of buffet after staying at this hotel. AHHH!!!! BTW this was our last day of skiing :(

Day 9
Check out. Bus ride to airport hotel 2 hrs. "PSPed" my way through again. Teehee! Before that we stopped at a Shopping Centre. And that's where I got my Lego Commander Cody keychain (the one I drew in my previous post). Then there was a indoor playground where we trashed haha. Then we went to the airport hotel which was super small eat dinner and slept.

Well yesterday was the last day of primary school for me. Yay and Boo! That's what the feeling's like. First, you're glad that you don't have to go back to school and suffer defective eardrums because of the continuous nagging and shouting from teachers. Then, you realise that your friends aren't going to go to the same school as you cos' what are the chances of 40 classmates going into the same school and being in the same class.

Anyways, we'll always make new friends :).

Next, draw on his eyes, ear and lightsaber. At this point, you can use a black marker to go over the pencil sketches.

Then, add on the most crucial parts, like the pupils, wrinkles, mouth, nose, details on the robe...

Graduation Camp

On Thursday and Friday I went to a graduation camp for P6s and it was like 1000 times better than the P5 camp. Here's how it went:

THURSDAY
We went to school. Then teachers took attendance and we're off! The bus ride was long and boring. And our bags made it worse cos' they weighed like a ton or smthing. When we reached Pasir Ris Park, they told us to gather at some weird gathering area. Then the trainers started shouting their heads off, trying to calm us all down. Took abt half an hour or smthing. Then they tought us some retarded claps like silent clap and half clap. More like half crap. Then we played some weird squirrel-trees-hunters game. LAME. Then we painted our class banner which was a COMPLETE MESS-UP! After that we made some weird mask thing. Then we went on an un-amazing race. Francis did most of the work cos' he had the map and without him we would be walking around like headless chickens. After that we went to eat lunch. Surprisingly, it wasn't as bad as I had expected it to be. Rice and vegetables with ketchup coated chicken. After lunch we did this crossing river game, blindfold game and cup balancing game. We were balancing the cup very well (trainer said we were the best group) then Jeremy shouted "aeroplane" and we got distracted and dropped the cup. Finally, the trainers took us to our chalet. THIS WAS THE BEST PART!!! I stayed with Francis , Shawn and Josh. We took turns to bathe, then went to other peoples rooms to disturb them. lol. The rooms were air-conditioned and there was a drinks and snacks machine right outside our door so we would just open our door, grab a drink/snack and close the door and start feasting away. Soon, it was evening and we gathered outside our rooms . Then we proceeded to the dining room which was abt the size of my house. That was where we had our graduation night, meaning there was a dinner buffet and we could watch performances at the same time. The MC was the nerdy dude who claimed his name was Henry Park and also claimed that it was fate that made his name same as that of our school's. On our table there was this bowl of nuts and snacks:) and after finishing it Jeremy filled it with chicken bones and watermelon skins and marshmellows and fishballs and all sorts of food waste. Then he finally poured in some sprite and put the bowl on the girls table. lol. they screamed like hell. Then then a food fight took place and me and a few friends hid behind the table. AFter that a napkin war took place and napkins were thrown everywhere. Mainly at Natasha cos' she was the main target. lol. After the dinner which turned out to be a WAR, the trainers debriefed us and took us back to our rooms. Lol Joshua Xuan Hao and Eugene were having a war with Jeremy Jonas Aloysius and James. Then Jonas threw a can at the trainer thinking it was Eugene or Xuan Hao. Super LOL. I hardly slept at all cos we were too excited and couldn't sleep.

FRIDAY
We woke up. Packed up. Had Breakfast which was horrible (even a trainer said so). Had a pillow fight. Then gathered at gathering point and took a bus home. Then Bredan Shawn and Eugene went to my house and we filmed part of HOW TO BE SITH.
